My name is Nic Fielding, I live in Kamloops, BC. I am currently in Practicum 1 during these dates: July, 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, and August 5th and 6th.
I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder later in my life. Without realizing, I had become an advocate for other people with ASD. I want to get my Special Education Certification to be able to work with children who have developmental challenges who may need the support and resources that I unfortunately didn’t have when I was a child.
